DISTINCTION THESIS WORKSHOP

PSY496.01

This graded course unit accompanies the writing of the Graduation with Distinction thesis. It is restricted to distinction candidates, and is specifically geared at preparing students for pursuing research at the graduate school level and beyond. Topics cover all phases of research project development, scientific article writing, and poster and oral presentation. In addition, the course includes a variety of professional development sessions, introducing the students to the publication process, graduate school considerations, and grant writing. The students are required to produce several written works and oral presentation. Departmental consent is required. Instructor: Egner
