Principles of instrumental learning in animals and humans. Topics include elicitation, classical conditioning, reinforcement, punishment, problem solving, behavioral economics, and verbal behavior. Focus on empirical data, quantitative analysis, research methodology, and technologies generated from learning research. Prerequisite: none, but some knowledge of quantitative science desirable. One course.
