How can psychology help us understand and improve education? In this course, students will develop skills as both critical consumers and producers of empirical research on teaching and learning. Students will develop original, testable hypotheses in the domain of teaching and learning and design ethical studies to test those hypotheses. This is a course for undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in teaching, education more generally, and/or in the application of psychology to real-world problems.
