2+ Positions in Psych and Neuro: Graphic Design / Communications / Research

Psychology and Neuroscience is hiring 2 or more students to do some combination of the following (or similar) responsibilities:

Graphic Design:
- Taking photos and creating graphics for P&N website
- Data visualizations to represent dept. statistics

Communications:
- Interviewing students, faculty and alumni to feature in a "P&Ner of the Week" story
- Writing Stories for P&N website
- Advertising and writing about P&N events

Research:
- Collect institutional data from public websites
- Use excel to find patterns in data

Preferred Software Knowledge:
- Excel
- Powerpoint
- Adobe Photoshop or equivalent
- Web Content Management systems (e.g., drupal)

Applicants need not have skills from all three areas; the responsibilities will be split across positions. Number of hours per week is flexible, and could range from 5 - 15 depending on the candidate's availability.

The positions will involve working directly with IT Team Lead Matt Mielke (mielke@duke.edu) and/or Associate Chair Professor Elizabeth Marsh (emarsh@psych.duke.edu).
