Psychology of Aging
An interdisciplinary approach to the study of aging. Psychological development in middle adulthood and old age as linked to disciplines such as Public Policy, Sociology, Geriatric Medicine & Psychiatry. Age-related changes in well-being, cognition, personality, and social relationships. Real-life issues that will affect most people in the future (e.g., successful retirement, decreasing one's risk of dementia). Open to undergraduate and graduate students. Prerequisites: none. One course / 3 units.
