Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure-track) position in Clinical Neuroscience

The Department of Psychology & Neuroscience at Duke University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate (tenure-track) Professor position in Clinical Neuroscience.

We seek candidates who use the experimental methods of human neuroscience to study mechanisms of psychopathology or intervention in clinical and/or healthy populations. The specific focus of candidates’ research interests within clinical neuroscience is unrestricted. Preference will be given to applicants who hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in clinical psychology. We seek outstanding applicants with the potential to develop a nationally-recognized, externally-funded research program and the motivation to excel in undergraduate and graduate teaching. The faculty candidate will be a core member of the Clinical Psychology program, a collaborative training program with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke University Medical Center, with additional affiliations in other departmental training areas or clinical research centers as appropriate. This position benefits from strong existing relationships with the Duke University Medical Center and strategic university investments in neuroscience, including the Duke Institute for Brain Science, Center for Cognitive Neuroscience, and Brain Imaging and Analysis Center. The position is to begin in the fall of 2018.
