WILD Lab Practicum Student

Exciting Developmental Psychology Lab Looking for Practicum Students – Spring 2018

The Wilbourn Infant Lab @ Duke (WILD) is looking for practicum students for the Spring 2018 semester. This is an UNPAID, 8-hour per week position. Our research focuses on the relations between thought and language throughout development. Some of our current studies involve word learning, gestures, parent-child interactions, pointing, and storytelling. This semester, we will also begin conducting a study out in the community. Being a part of this fun and energetic lab will entail recruiting, scheduling, and testing participants, coding and entering data, creating video and audio stimuli, and more. We are looking for motivated, detailed-oriented, mature, reliable, and energetic students who demonstrate ease and comfort while interacting with children and their families. This is a great opportunity for psychology majors interested in gaining hands-on research experience. All are encouraged to apply, especially underrepresented minorities.

If interested, please take a look at our website (wild.psych.duke.edu) and complete your application via Qualtrics:  https://duke.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_ezVoJGMksFTeo1n  or email Primula Lane at primula.lane@duke.edu if you have any questions.
