Biological Bases of Behavior (Team-Based Learning)

Century Course introduces students to core concepts in neuroscience by exploring how the brain and nervous system work. Students study foundational topics such as neuroanatomy, sensory and motor systems, emotion and cognition, brain development, and brain states. Students reflect on how neuroscience connects to everyday life and to society. Learning is reinforced through a variety of hands-on activities, interactive labs, and Team-Based Learning (TBL), supporting students at any level of science experience through guided teamwork and real-world applications. All students curious about the brain are welcome.
