Perception and the Brain

Explores capacities and limitations of human sensory systems. How the sense organs detect objects and events and what brains then do with that information. Concentrates primarily on the visual system, with some forays into other sensory modalities. Prerequisites: PSY 102 or 106. Prior course in statistics is strongly recommended. One course.
