PSY 205L

Second part of two-semester series (204L/205L). Design of research studies and use of statistical methods to become better consumers, creators, and communicators of psychological research. Second semester (205L) focused on experimental research design, ethical issues, statistical tests for experimental studies (e.g., regression, ANOVA, non-parametric tests), statistical software, and communicating scientific findings. By the end of this course series, students will have the methodological and statistical knowledge and skills to conduct their own psychological research. Includes lab section. Required for psychology major. Prerequisite: Psychology 204L (cannot be taken concurrently with Psychology 205L). Instructor: Samanez-Larkin, Strauman, or staff
