Duke ACE Clinical Research Specialist.  Within the Duke Center for Autism and Brain Development, the Duke Autism Center of Excellence (ACE) program is seeking one or more Clinical Research Specialists to join the COMET study.  The purpose of this study is to develop and examine the validity and suitability of a multimodal biomarker of Autism using machine learning and EEG methodologies.  Clinical Research Specialists for this study will work to screen, consent, enroll participants and conduct study visits.  As part of the COMET team you will gain experience in:  following study protocols, preparation and use of assessments, direct participant interaction, data acquisition, and data quality control processes.  This is an entry level position. Anticipated start date: February 2023

Duke Sense2Know Clinical Research Specialist.  Within the Duke Center for Autism and Brain Development, the Duke Sense2Know (S2K) study is seeking one or more Clinical Research Specialists to join our research team.  Duke S2K is a longitudinal study focused on a novel screening tool for early detection of symptoms of autism.  Study staff work with parents to remotely administer surveys and the mobile Sense2Know application to infants and toddlers. Clinical Research Specialists will work to recruit, consent, enroll participants, and conduct study visits and data collection.  As part of the Sense2Know team you will gain experience in:  following study protocols, preparation and use of assessments, direct participant interaction, data acquisition, and data quality control processes.  This study enrolls English- and Spanish-speaking participants, therefore bilingual individuals are especially encouraged to apply. This is an entry level position. Anticipated start date: late Spring/early Summer 2023.
