Graduate Assistant, The Purpose Project (Short-term/Immediate hire)
The Purpose Project at Duke is seeking a graduate student to grade student reflections and track student attendance for the What Now? program through the end of the fall 2021 semester (Dec 15). The What Now? program offers a cluster of first-year seminars that engage students in questions of purpose, meaning, and what it means to lead a good life. In addition to participating in a seminar taught by a Duke faculty member, students also take the What Now? Common Experience course, which offers them the opportunity to engage with faculty and fellow students in informal conversations and participate in a variety of activities that support their well-being. Students write brief weekly reflections (250-300 words) on their Common Experience activity.
The responsibilities of the Graduate Assistant are to
Time commitment: Approximately 7.5 hours per week, starting immediately, ending December 15
