IES FY 2024 Research Training Programs in the Education Sciences RFA

The Institute of Education Sciences (IES) would like to invite you to share with your networks the release of a new Request for Applications (RFA) for our two Early Career Development and Mentoring Programs through its Research Training Programs in the Education Sciences (ALN 84.305B). The application deadline is January 11, 2024. Through these programs, IES supports early career faculty members and researchers with funding to conduct research, establish a longer-term research agenda, and obtain career development guidance and support. IES FY 2024 RFA for Two Early Career Development and Mentoring Programs is Now Available

The National Center for Education Research (NCER) at the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) has released the FY 2024 Research Training Programs in the Education Sciences Request for Applications, which includes two Early Career Development and Mentoring Programs (ALN 84.305B). 

·         Early Career Development and Mentoring Program for Education Research (Early Career)

·         Early Career Development and Mentoring Program for Faculty at Minority Serving Institutions (Early Career MSI)

Each award will provide an early career faculty member or researcher at institutions of higher education, MSIs, and non-academic research organizations with funding to conduct research (including salary for protected time to conduct research), establish a longer-term research agenda, and obtain career development guidance and support, including training under the guidance of an experienced mentor or mentors. The Early Career MSI program also includes optional additional funds for the direct costs of grant administration and management.
