The Developmental Neurolinguists Lab (http://bbs.utdallas.edu/brainlab/) at University of Texas at Dallas’s Callier Center for Communication Disorders, directed by Dr. Mandy Maguire, is seeking a full-time Lab Coordinator to work on a NSF funded project that investigates the impact of poverty on brain and language development. This is an exciting opportunity for recent collage graduates interested in language development, cognitive neuroscience and/or the implications of poverty on cognition. This position is ideal for someone who is interested in continuing on to a PhD or MD as, if justified, there will be opportunities for authorship on conference papers and journal articles.

The successful candidate will have outstanding organizational and communication skills (written and oral), proven reliability and attention to detail, the ability to work independently and oversee the work of others.
The position is full-time with benefits with at least a 2-year commitment. Because we study school-aged children, this job requires weekend and evening hours during the school year but the lab coordinator has flexibility in creating their own weekday schedule. Interested candidates should send a CV and cover letter (which should include a statement of research interests and a list of 3 references) to Kathleen Denicola-Prechtl (kmd130030@utdallas.edu)
