The Infant Learning & Development Lab at the University of Chicago is seeking a full-time Lab Manager to support laboratory-based research on infants’ and young children’s social understanding. The lab uses behavioral experimental methods, including online and in-lab paradigms such as eye-tracking and looking-time methods, to study how infants and children understand others’ intentions, perceptions, emotions, and social actions.
The Lab Manager will ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the Infant Learning & Development Lab. This role involves technical, administrative, regulatory, and supervisory support for scientific research projects. The Lab Manager will work closely with the PI, postdoctoral scholars, graduate students, and research assistants, and will help maintain compliance with institutional, state, and federal research policies and procedures.
