Lab Manager Position @ MIT Linguistics

The research labs at Department of Linguistics at MIT is seeking a Lab Manager for studies of language comprehension in children and adults using a variety of in-person and internet-based experimental techniques. Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in linguistics, cognitive science or psychology, a strong interest in language acquisition and linguistics, prior experience working with children ages 2-5, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Special attention will be paid to candidates with programming and statistical experience.

Responsibilities of the Manager include: assisting lab members in carrying out studies, testing child and adult participants, assisting with data analysis, participant recruitment, training undergraduate research assistants, maintaining and coordinating equipment and space use, management of human subject information.
