The Mathematics, Reasoning, and Learning Laboratory, directed by Dr. Miriam Rosenberg-Lee, seeks qualified candidates for a funded graduate position in the Department of Psychology at Rutgers University – Newark. MRLab does cutting-edge work at the intersection of neuroscience and education, currently focused on uncovering the neural basis of difficulties learning rational numbers, with a view to developing instructional approaches to improve mathematical outcomes. Students will have the opportunity to work on funded projects focused on real-world interventions to assess the role of executive functions in collaborative math learning (https://www.efmathprogram.org/mathematical-thinkers-like-me).
