Why apply to UNL?

  • All admitted students are supported through research assistantships and teaching assistantships.
  • Students will receive interdisciplinary training including opportunities to work with developmental faculty in the College of Education and Human Sciences.
  • The Developmental Psychology program is small, allowing for individualized attention and support as students progress through the program.
  • Departmental strengths in both research training and teaching excellence prepare students well for careers in academia and non-academic jobs in consulting, policy-work, and at research think-tanks.
  • Lincoln is a vibrant Big Ten college town with a low cost-of-living, great schools, and friendly, community-minded residents.
