Research assistant opening on a study of Autism in infancy, Women & Infants Hospital and Brown University

The Brown Center for Children at Risk at Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island is currently looking for a full-time clinical research assistant to work on a NIH-funded longitudinal study. The study, being done in collaboration with the Hassenfeld Child Health Innovation Institute, aims to investigate early indicators of autism during infancy. The research assistant will gain experience on all aspects of the research process and will become adept at using secure software to log and handle participant information (i.e. REDCap and EMA applications). Responsibilities will include screening and recruiting participants at Women and Infants Hospital, data collection (including clinical interviews and infant-cry recordings), data management, and literature reviews. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to obtain clinical and research experience, which may serve as a launch pad for graduate studies in developmental psychology, clinical psychology or related fields.
