Drs. Caroline Oppenheimer and Adam Bryant Miller are seeking a full-time Research Coordinator to work on a funded NIMH R01 at RTI International. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain intensive training in suicide research with children and families within a highly supportive and mentored research environment.
The Research Coordinator will primarily support the Life Experiences and Emotional Development study, a longitudinal project examining how early childhood adversity relates to emotional reactivity, reactive aggression, and risk for suicidal thoughts and behaviors. The study enrolls children ages 5–7 and follows families for two years. The position is based in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill), with some flexibility regarding on-campus presence.
