Research Coordinator Position @ NYU, New York NY

Dr. Pamela Morris-Perez is seeking a full-time Research Coordinator/Senior Research Coordinator to join her research team, to begin August 2024. Dr. Morris-Perez's work spans three projects across two topical areas (early childhood school readiness and adolescent suicide): 1) the study of preventive parenting interventions in pediatric care with a focus on COVID-19 influences on parents and children (and particularly drawing from a study we conducted called Smart Beginnings); 2) addressing an innovative school-based mental health/suicide prevention program in the form of a film contest, "Directing Change," that can be a catalyst for changing norms for suicide prevention school- and community-wide; and 3) addressing rising rates of attempts of Black youth through a systems-level strategy of screening and connecting youth to care who present to the emergency department. For a description of Dr. Morris-Perez's portfolio of research, please visit her NYU Faculty Bio page. Our team is committed to issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion in our practices as a research team, the content of our research, and our interactions with participants and partners.
