Peggy Morrell Receives Presidential Award

Congratulations  to Peggy Morrell, who has been selected as a recipient of a Meritorious Service Award in the 2014 Duke Presidential Awards. This is one of the highest honors given to staff and administrators at Duke – one recognizing “distinctive contributions to the university.”

Over the years, Peggy  has made many contributions to the department, its administration, and its graduate and  undergraduate programs. She’s worked with several chairs, countless graduate students, and served as a mentor to many of the staff.  Peggy is often described as having “deep institutional knowledge” associated with the breadth and depth of her responsibilities over the years.

President Brodhead  will present an award and a check to Peggy and each of the Meritorious Service Award recipients at a luncheon on Thursday, April 16.

Thank you Peggy for all that you do for the Department of Psychology & Neuroscience!
