MedServe Clinical Fellowship

MedServe is a paid, full-time, two-year clinical fellowship designed for recent graduates who want to be intentional about how they spend the years before professional school.

Fellows serve in high-impact primary care clinics across North Carolina’s rural and medically underserved communities—working alongside physicians, PAs, and care teams in both clinical roles (often as medical assistants) and community-focused roles that address patient needs beyond the exam room.

Fellowship highlights include:

· $24,000/year living stipend + $7,395 education award

· Full-time clinical experience in primary care (not shadowing or volunteering)

· Personalized med school / PA school application support

· Statewide trainings and mentorship

· Access to a strong alumni network of providers and current trainees
