Community Volunteers

Multiple labs in Duke Psychology and Neuroscience study psychological processes across the lifespan.  We are looking for adults of all ages to participate, with a focus on people aged 65 to 85 years.

Marsh Lab

We study learning across the lifespan, to understand how people acquire, maintain and update their knowledge.  One focus is on healthy aging and  leveraging older adults' strengths to promote learning and retention.

Motivated Cognition And Aging Brain Lab
PI: Greg Samanez-Larkin

We examine how individual and age differences in motivation and cognition influence decision-making across the lifespan We aim to identify psychological and neurobiological strengths across all stages of adulthood to enhance everyday decision-making.
