How has being a P&N graduate helped shape your professional success?

It gave tools to think and adapt to find solutions in an ever changing world. Amazing role models, amazing experience in lab complimentary to course work, and the possibility to explore other fields in addition to my major. Plus, it is the basis for my work in neuroscience, and concepts are useful in any field, personal and professional relationships.

What advice would you give students in Psychology?

Explore you passions before focusing too much. Meet with proffesors, listen to their advice, discuss, do your homework to find out what motivates you intrinsically. The educational experience at Duke is fabulous, balancing academia and personal growth, be it with cultural exchanges, doing sports, socializing and creating an amazing network of ecellent professionals. Keep in touch.
