Not only was learning about the brain so fascinating, but the major improved my critical thinking skills. These skills have been instrumental to me in medical school as they have helped me develop more efficient study skills, look at problems in a different way, and come up with solutions.
I would advise that one have a plan in mind of what area they want to pursue, whether it is PhD, medical school/healthcare field, etc. Spend time each day with the subject material, especially with the harder classes.
