The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is about 10 miles away. Our students take classes and attend events in UNC’s Psychology Department. They also can take advantage of the UNC-Duke Collaborative graduate certificate program in Developmental Psychology.
The Cognition and Cognitive Neuroscience training program is a member of the Consortium of Neuroscience Graduate Programs of the Duke Institute for Brain Sciences. Via the Consortium, students in our program interact with a wide range of other students and faculty in an interdisciplinary setting.
Duke's Center for Cognitive Neuroscience offers the interdisciplinary Cognitive Neuroscience Admitting Program (CNAP), a gateway into various doctoral programs, including our Department of Psychology & Neuroscience and the Department of Neurobiology.
