The Biobehavioral Health Ph.D. program provides truly interdisciplinary training that integrates biological, psychological, sociocultural, and environmental perspectives as they relate to health. Graduate students and faculty in BBH apply cutting-edge statistical methods in research that improves people's lives. We train and develop the next leaders in basic, mechanistic, and applied research to improve health, reduce disparities, and advance prevention efforts throughout the lifespan. The program trains students to work in diverse settings with a wide range of career options.
