El Futuro is a non-profit organization that provides culturally sensitive mental health and wellness services to Latinx individuals and families. Our Case Management Program is crucial in connecting clients with the support and resources they need. Our comprehensive approach includes assessments, personalized care plans, referrals to community services, and ongoing guidance to improve mental health outcomes.

Internship Overview: 

We are inviting your top students to apply for our internship program, where they can work alongside experienced case managers and mental health professionals. Through hands-on experience, interns will:

• Learn about culturally sensitive case management techniques
• Gain insights into mental health assessment and treatment planning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic support
• Assist in connecting clients with relevant community resources
• Develop communication and interpersonal skills crucial to the field

 To be eligible for this internship opportunity, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in English and Spanish is essential, as interns will interact with clients from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
• Flexible Availability: Interns should be available to work during regular business hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM). This commitment ensures consistent support for clients and engagement with the team.
• Remote and Clinic Work: Interns must have the technological setup and discipline to work effectively remotely and at our clinic location. This hybrid approach allows interns to experience the flexibility of remote work while still engaging directly with clients and the team on-site.
