Lab Manager Position @ Indiana University
The Navigating Intergroup Contexts and Emotions (NICE) Lab (PI: Dr. Dorainne Green) and the interACT Lab (PI: Dr. Natasha Chaku) are recruiting a full-time joint Laboratory Manager within the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Indiana University Bloomington.
The lab manager will assist both labs in their day-to-day activities, which primarily seek to understand the lived experiences of youth and young adults, especially as related to the social and developmental determinants of health and wellbeing. Candidates interested in youth development, psychophysiology, (e.g., cortisol, sleep, puberty) and/or diversity, inequality, and intergroup relations are particularly encouraged to apply. Methodologies currently employed across both labs include self-reports, cognitive testing, behavioral tasks, biological sample collection, and daily diary or ecological momentary assessment (EMA). Successful candidates in this position will gain substantial research experience (e.g., authorship on posters and manuscripts, conference travel) and mentorship across social and developmental research labs. Thus, this position would be ideal for individuals motivated to pursue graduate studies in psychology.
