Job Description
The newly established Kid’s Socioemotional Development in Context (KID) Lab at the University of Texas at Austin directed by Dr. Laura Quiñones Camacho, is seeking a full-time lab manager to start in August 2022. The lab’s research integrates developmental, behavioral, sociocultural, psychophysiological (RSA, PEP), and neuroscience (EEG, fNIRS) approaches, to advance our understanding of socioemotional development and risk for psychopathology in diverse children. The lab manager is expected to support the PI in all aspects of the lab's day-to-day function. Extensive training and close supervision will be provided. This position is particularly appropriate to candidates hoping to increase their research training prior to applying to graduate school. The position duration is currently one year with the chance to renew contingent upon continued funding and satisfactory performance. Exact start date is flexible, but August 2022 is the ideal start.
