About the Position: 
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is committed to educating students to be culturally, globally, socially, historically and environmentally astute, civically responsible alumni able to navigate an increasingly complex and interconnected world. We are seeking an exceptional individual who is organized, detail oriented and possesses excellent communication skills to join our team as a Project Coordinator (Administrative Support Coordinator I) for our Latinx Lab based in our Chicana/o Studies Department. Seeking a Program Coordinator for a 3-year grant sponsored by the Mellon Foundation project called the Latinx Lab for Storytelling and Social Justice. The Latinx Lab is based within the Chicana and Chicano Studies Department at California State University, Fullerton and includes curriculum development, the creation of a digital hub and archive, a summer institute for incoming students, and faculty-led symposia. In consultation with the Grant Director the Project Coordinator will be responsible for creating new content for the Latinx Lab and coordinating all administrative, communication, and programmatic tasks.

The Program Coordinator will have experience and expertise in the Humanities related to Latinx Studies. The Project Coordinator will be the lead liaison for all members of the Latinx Lab including the Program Director, Co-PIs, faculty, students, and administration in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at CSUF.

The Program Coordinator will provide program coordination and oversee the day-to-day operations of the office. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for tasks such as budgetary functions, maintaining schedules and calendars, maintaining files, hiring and overseeing student assistants, and serving as the timekeeper. Duties also include creating a newsletter and social media content and marketing, including regular updates across a variety of social media platforms. Thorough knowledge and expertise in the Latinx Humanities, and/or related academic field of study is required. Other duties as assigned.
