Boston University: Wheelock College of Education & Human Development Center on the Ecology of Early Development
The Center on the Ecology of Early Development (CEED) at Boston University is an early childhood policy research center led by Stephanie M. Curenton, Ph.D. The mission of the center is to conduct applied equity-focused research to inspire policy leaders and practitioners to cultivate opportunities that optimize Black children’s wellbeing and ability to thrive. Through a research partnership with Multnomah County’s Preschool and Early Learning Division, CEED is helping to study the implementation of the Preschool for All (PFA) program using a racial equity framework.
Boston University is looking to fill the following positions (Research Scientists, Postdoctoral Associates and Research Assistants/Local Data Collectors). Interviews will begin immediately, and positions will remain open until filled.
General Qualifications: Having professional experience in early childhood education settings, with ethnic/racial minority children and/or being Spanish-English bilingual/bidialectal in African American Vernacular English is preferred. Applicants with lived personal experience and sustained connections with children, families, and communities that are racially and ethnically diverse are strongly encouraged to apply. Preference for candidates with personal or professional experience in Multnomah County, Oregon.

RESEARCH ASSISTANTS/DATA COLLECTORS
Research assistants/data collectors would support data collection and analysis activities for the project, as well as other support activities. Full and part-time positions available and work can be done remotely. Some in person data collection may be required. The pay rate for this position is between $19-22 per hour and is commensurate with experience.
