Research Associate Position@ UT Austin, TIES Lab, TX

The Technological Interventions for Ecological Systems (TIES) Lab at the University of Texas at Austin is seeking an in-person, full-time Research Associate in the Department of Psychology to work with Assistant Professor Dr. Adela Timmons.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and coordinate grant project
• Collect data
• Manage and mentor research assistants
• Data Processing
• Analyze data and scientific writing
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required

• B.A. or B.S. in psychology or related field
• Highly organized, have exceptional interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail

Preferred

• Have research interest and focus on children and families exposed to stress and adversity and/or the role of technology in improving the reach and impact of mental health care 
• A history of conducting and publishing scientific research on this topic. 
• At least 1-2 years prior experience working or volunteering in a research lab. 
• Fluency in Spanish
