Research Opportunities @ Georgetown University

We are hiring up to 2 full-time entry-level paid research staff, with a highly competitive salary and benefits package. Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting with the development and implementation of health and behavior research studies
  • Coordinating behavioral intervention trials, including scheduling and tracking participant recruitments, retention, and follow-up survey and assessment administration
  • Recruiting and enrolling study participants
  • Data entry/management/processing
  • Training and supervising undergraduate volunteers
  • Assisting with editing scholarly works
  • Collaborating with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) to maintain research compliance
  • Initiating and overseeing contractual agreements with study vendors

Research Opportunities Offered:

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (by time of start), with interest in and/or prior experience with clinical (human subjects) research; Two-year minimum commitment, with option of longer-term.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of and experience in working with: IRBs; data processing and statistical software (e.g. REDCap, Microsoft Excel, SPSS); working in academic medical research, clinical, and/or community settings, coursework in behavioral and social science.
