Virtual Implementation Trainer Position @ ProScribe

The Virtual Implementation Trainer is responsible for facilitating clinical training for new scribes at assigned facilities and/or implementations for new accounts. The Virtual Implementation Trainer will remote into ProScribe's virtual scribing app to scribe for providers and train new scribes in accordance with ProScribe's Clinical Training Guidelines (CTG).

Responsibilities

  • Proficient in utilizing virtual scribing application and remote scribing
  • The trainer will log into both ProScribe's virtual scribing application and client’s Electronic Medical Record for the purposes of scribing patient encounters and training scribes
  • Participate in training new employees as necessary for existing and/or new accounts; ensure new employees successfully complete and progress through clinical training in accordance to ProScribe’s Clinical Training Guidelines (CTG) for each training day
  • Compliance with CTG; follows evaluation process by providing documentation demonstrating competencies for each trainee
  • Conducts Quality Assurance audits by observing scribe performance
  • Provides coaching to providers to ensure appropriate utilization of ProScribe's virtual scribing application as well as their scribes; Facilitates provider and scribe workflow/rapport by providing guidance and recommendations during clinical training
  • Assist providers with troubleshooting virtual scribing application and/or informing the administrator when technical issues occur
  • Collaborates with Client Service Manager/Implementation Team/Site Supervisor to establish provider preferences
  • Must be able to be compliant with “Electronic Agreement Form” and “Telecommuting Policy” as it related to remote employees and accessing PHI

Education/Experience:  High school diploma required.  College sophomore status or higher required. Pre-health career track and minimum six months scribing preferred.  Ability to demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology required.

  • Ability to quickly learn new EMRs, new physician practice styles, and potentially new areas of expertise (i.e. cardiology, neurology, etc.)

  • Ability to spell proofread and edit written text.
  • Keyboard proficiency (approximately 70 words/minute).
