The department of Psychology & Neuroscience welcomes back Tiffany Yarborough in the role of administrative coordinator. Having previously served as P&N’s DGSA, Yarborough later moved to the department of Economics where she spent six years before moving to Trinity Finance. She brings with her a wide range of experience and will assist Chair Beth Marsh with a variety of activities and special projects, as well as take on some budget and HR responsibilities.
Below is a Q&A introducing Yarborough to the broader community.
What is your official job title? Administrative Coordinator
What does your position involve? I am the Assistant to the Chair and I perform a variety of specialized, complex activities in the coordination of human resources, payroll, and general office administration.
What are you enjoying about P&N thus far? Being back around my previous co-workers. My first job was in P&N in 2009.
What were you doing prior to your arrival to P&N? I worked as a HR Manager II in the Trinity Office of Finance and Administration. There I handled all things related to NRR and NRR-BU faculty. I also worked with Postdocs and JF27 staff.
What was the first job you ever had? My first job was at a bank while in college.
What is your hometown? I am from Raleigh, NC
What do you enjoy doing in your free time? My free time is spent being with my boys at all of their sports events, and supporting my husband while he coaches.
