Neuroscience gave me the scientific background to work directly with physicians in care delivery science as I am doing now.
Enjoy the Neuroscience classes but also explore outside the major, and don't be concerned that a neuroscience major will pigeon-hole you into academia. I've had so many wonderful opportunities because of the foundation that the Neuroscience and Psychology majors gave me in scientific reasoning. Additionally, take full advantage of independent study to explore opportunities to cross disciplines - my independent study combined psychology, healthcare, and business, and allowed me to pivot into healthcare consulting.
