If you want to go into academia, get a few really honest evaluations about your chances of succeeding -- it's a cutthroat field, and very few make it to those coveted tenure-track positions. But if you love Psychology, go and study it anyway -- there are lots of other opportunities now in industry and public service for people with those skills.
